Case model

A case is the operational wrapper for work that spans multiple steps and participants. Examples:
  • onboarding review
  • payment repair
  • lending exception
  • covenant breach remediation
  • customer complaint
  • fraud escalation

Task model

Tasks carry:
  • assignee
  • queue
  • due date
  • SLA clock
  • related business object
  • status
  • completion evidence

Document model

Documents must support:
  • category and type
  • source system
  • version
  • upload actor
  • linked parties or facilities
  • hash or integrity marker
  • retention rule
  • deletion restriction if subject to hold

Typical task triggers

  • missing document
  • expired KYC
  • approval pending
  • payment exception
  • rate reset requiring review
  • covenant breach follow-up
  • AI tool execution blocked by policy

AI usage

AI may:
  • classify incoming documents
  • summarize a case
  • draft a follow-up request
  • propose routing priority
AI may not:
  • delete evidence
  • override retention rules
  • close regulated cases without policy-approved automation
