Consumer lending

10.1 Product and origination model

The Consumer Lending Service is optimized for higher-volume and more automated origination. It supports digital and assisted application capture, quote generation, decision callbacks, offer acceptance and contract creation. Where instant decisions are not possible, the workflow supports asynchronous continuation without abandoning the application case. Capabilities include:
  • quote and offer generation
  • digital and assisted application intake
  • internal and external scoring integration
  • asynchronous decision notification
  • e-signature and digital acceptance
  • automated account and contract creation
  • affordability and responsible lending data capture
  • event-driven notifications throughout application and servicing

10.2 Customer self-service

Consumer loan servicing is designed to be exposed through web and mobile channels. The domain service provides the underlying APIs for schedule retrieval, balance views, extra payment requests, payment date amendments and hardship requests. The user interface itself may be native to the platform or provided by an external channel layer.

10.3 Hardship, collections and recovery

The platform supports structured hardship and remediation flows including payment holidays, deferments, term extensions and approved restructures. Collections interactions are modeled as service requests and customer events, with optional integration to specialist dialer, collections or recovery platforms. Write-off, partial settlement and portfolio-sale workflows are maintained as auditable lifecycle actions when included in the deployment scope.
